Sometimes Users experience trouble saving Encounters due to an error and the system does not provide a clear reason why. If this your experience, please check these methods out below to address the issue:
- Check and ensure that the browser being used is up to date to its most recent version. If not, then the system will not work properly.
- Try entering the encounter note in a different browser all together.
- Clear the browser cache.
- Check that the encounter types are compatible with core services: Encounter Types and Core Service
- Check that there are no special characters pasted into the Encounter notes from a Word document, for example. Some common symbols that trigger Encounter Errors are below:

- If so, delete the special characters and re-type it in the note instead.
