How to Find Segment Errors

Segment Errors

If a segment does not sync successfully with MAPP, this means MAPP rejected the segment and sent back an associated error. The rejected segment’s “Reporting Status” will appear as “Not yet reported” and the errors from MAPP will appear as a red circle with an exclamation point under the “Tracking Records” section of the “Segment” tab.

If a patient’s segment has not successfully synced with MAPP, no Billing Support Questionnaires will be generated; therefore, a CMA will not be able to bill for the patient.

How to identify patients with segment errors

There are two ways in which you can find a list of members without a segment in MAPP.

CMA Dashboard

Go to ManageReportsCMA Dashboard

Under DOH Tracking it will tell you how many members have not yet been accepted by MAPP.  The blue link will take you to those specific members.

Tracking/Billing Support

Go to Manage→ Tracking/Billing Support Status

In the Billing Support Status filter, choose “No billing instance”. This is filtering to all of the segments that have not had MAPP generate BSQs.

This will bring up a list of patients who have segment errors from MAPP in Foothold.
